X-ray image intensifier and I.I. mini voltage supply 2
• Move the X-ray image intensifier into service position. (See chapter 1 and Fig. 4 in the
service manual.)
• Disconnect the I.I. mini voltage supply (high-voltage section and control section).
(See chapter 6 in the service manual. Please observe the safety information on dis-
charging the I.I. mini voltage supply.)
• Disconnect the HV cable, as well as E3, E2 and E1 cables.
• Disconnect the CON1 connector.
• Eject the black cathode cable of the X-ray image intensifier (CON1.8)
• Remove the protective ground wire from the X-ray image intensifier and disconnect the
I.I. mini voltage supply.
• Disconnect the M4 X1 camera plug from the support bracket, and remove it.
• Disconnect the M30 X1 plug.
• Loosen the cable ties. All image intensifier cables are now disconnected.
• Remove the X-ray image intensifier from the C-arm, and store it in a dark place
(avoid exposure to direct sunlight). Avoid exposing the CCD sensor to light and dirt by
covering the camera PC board.
• Remove the I.I. mini voltage supply from the C-arm.
• The X-ray image intensifier section of the C-arm contains a round LEMOSA plug con-
nection. Loosen this pug connection (Fig. 5).
