CP replacement
If a CP is replaced by a different CP then it must provide at least the same services and
have at least the same version. This is the only way to ensure that the connections
configured via the CP remain consistent and can be used.

After you have placed and networked a CP in
the hardware configuration:
1. Assign the CP to the connection in the
properties dialog for the connection in the
"Addresses" tab;
reassign the connection with the
Edit >
Connection partner
function.
2. Check the module start address LADDR
and customize if necessary in the user
program.
3. Customize the connection IDs in the user
program.
4. Reload the connection configuration into the
CP.
Delete the SIMATIC S7 station. All the connections to this station are
deleted in the project.

partner if this uses a router.
