2.2.3 Digital Input / Output (CC716)
The CC716 gateway has a digital input and a digital output. They can be used as follows:
● Digital Input
The input can be used alternatively as a trigger for the following functions:
– External trigger for transferring all data points
– Stop/start trigger for process communication
● Digital output
The output is a switch and can be used to generate a status signal:
– Connection status to the cloud
The signal corresponds to the states of the "Cloud Connection" LED.
The functions are configurable, see section DI/DO (CC716) (Page 62).
