The "User data format" output box specifies the syntax that is expected and required of the
received subscribed messages. Take this into account when configuring the relevant
publisher.
When a message is received with a user data format that does not correspond exactly to this
syntax, the message is discarded and the gateway generates a diagnostic message.
You can find the diagnostic messages in the WBM under "Maintenance > Diagnostics".
