Parameter
You specify the properties of the technology module using various parameters. These can
be assigned by using the HSP or the GSDML file. Depending on the settings, not all
parameters are available. You cannot change the parameter assignment in the user
program.
You have the following options for setting the parameters of the module:

Basic procedure
Hardware configuration in
STEP 7 with HSP file
1. Install the respective HSP file.
The module is subsequently available in the hardware catalog
under "ET 200SP".
2. Set the device configuration and the parameters in the hard-
ware configuration.
3. Download the parameter assignment to the module.
Hardware configuration with
GSD file for distributed opera-
tion on PROFINET IO
4. Install the latest PROFINET GSD file.
The module is subsequently available in the hardware catalog
under "Additional field devices".
5. Set the parameters of the PROFINET GSD file in the hardware
configuration.
6. Download the parameter assignment to the module.
