Retentively enabling/disabling scan mode
You can enable scan mode by executing the SYSTEMcommand with the function identifier
FKT = 0x08”.

Enable scan mode (disable ASCII mode)
Scan mode is enabled using the SYSTEMcommand, as described below:

The reader is in scan mode as soon as the command has been successfully acknowledged.
Disabling scan mode (enabling ASCII mode)
To disable scan mode, you must set the Scan modeparameter to the value 0x02using
the Change parametersframe.
