10.1 Open the device.
CAUTION
Only authorized technical personnel are allowed to carry out any work on the open device.
You may only install memory modules and expansion cards to expand the hardware within
the warranty period.
CAUTION
The device contains electronic components which may be destroyed by electrostatic
charge.
Take appropriate precautionary measures before you open the device. Refer to the ESD
guidelines on handling electrostatically sensitive components (
3ESD guidelines (Page 2221)).
Tools
You can mount all components using TORX T6, T10 and T20 screwdrivers and a 4.5-mm
hex key (for the interface interlock on the rear panel.)
Preparation
Disconnect the device from the mains.
WARNING
Unauthorized opening of device without previously disconnecting power may result in
substantial damage to equipment and/or danger to the user.
