Removing the CF card rack
The following figures show the removal of the CF card rack in the drive rack for removable
racks. The removal of the CF card rack in the vibration damped drive racks is performed the
same way.
How to remove the Compact Flash card rack
1. Place the drive rack on its
right side and loosen the
two indicated screws with a
Torx T6 screwdriver.
2. Place the drive rack on its
left side and loosen the two
indicated screws with a
Torx T6 screwdriver.
3. Pull out the CF card rack
out of the drive rack with
the mounting plate in the
direction of the cable. Do
not pull on the cable.
4. Loosen the four screws on
the CF card rack and
remove the CF card rack
from the mounting plate.
