Setting the diagnostic parameters
• Check box Response to EMCY message: Pass event as diagnostics to S7
When you select this option, all received EMCY messages are sent to the IO controller as
diagnostic alarms.
• Check box Enable diagnostic alarms for not mandatory nodes
The option applies only to nodes that are not mandatory.
When you disable this option, the disconnection of the nodes from the CAN bus or error
messages that are pending in the CANopen network are not sent to the diagnostic buffer and
the ERROR LED remains off.
