Effects on the module availability
When the module is operated at altitudes above 2,000 m, the stronger cosmic radiation
starts having an effect on the error rate of electronic components (so-called Soft Error Rate).
In rare cases this may result in the module entering the safe state; this is especially true for
safety modules. However, the functional safety of the module remains completely
unaffected.
