With increasing inlet pressure resulting in higher purge ow the pre-purging time gets less.
WARNING
Absence of ammable gases
Always ensure the absence of ammable gases inside the GA700 wall housing before powering
on the GA700 device.
Attach air supply or inert gas to air inlet (2). Take care that the purging gas supplied is clean,
dry and regulated to 2200 hPa relative +- 10 % at the air inlet (2). Ensure a stable pressure at
the inlet.
Always ensure a constant ow higher than 1 Nl/min.
To do so, with closed enclosure and active purging, turn the ow control (3) counter-
clockwise until system status indication (1) turns red, which indicates insucient ow. Now
turn the ow control (3) back clockwise until system status indication (1) turns green,
indicating a ow of > 1NL/min.
You will nd the information relevant for installation and operation of the Ex p
safety equipment with the wall-mounted device in the corresponding manufacturer
documentation.
