WARNING
Measuring gas mixtures with high oxygen concentration
For the measurement of high O
2
concentrations in excess of 25%, it is absolutely necessary that
all parts that come in contact with the sample gas are free of oil and grease and do not contain
any particles that could react with O
2
.
We highly recommend you use specially cleaned analyzer modules with the "Cleaned for O2"
option for such measurements.

Introduction of 󹪞ammable media in OXYMAT 7
Explosion hazard
The introduction of 󹪞ammable media in OXYMAT 7 can lead to an explosion.
• Install suitable 󹪞ame arrestors in the sample gas and reference gas paths directly at the
device.
WARNING
Loose lines or open purging gas connections at the wall-mounted device (operation with
types of protection Ex t and Ex ec)
Danger of explosion in hazardous areas
In the case of operation with the types of protection Ex t and Ex ec, purging gas connections
(connection nozzles) must always be closed.
• Close all openings, such as purging gas connections. Use Swagelok SS-12M0-C or
compatible.
• Ensure that all lines to be connected are secured in place.
