Formation of explosive sample gas mixtures
Explosion hazard
Air in the gas path can cause an explosion during the introduction of ammable gas mixtures
into the OXYMAT7.
• Prior to the introduction of ammable sample gas mixtures, ush the gas path in the
analyzer and the gas line with inert gas when ammable gas mixtures are introduced, as
follows:
– into the rack unit for any pressure
– into the wall-mounted device at a pressure above 100 hPa (rel.)
WARNING
Maintenance during continued operation in a hazardous area
There is a risk of explosion when carrying out repairs and maintenance on the device in a
hazardous area.
• Isolate the device from power.

• Ensure that the atmosphere is explosion-free (hot work permit).
