Mounting the DIN rail adapter on the DIN rail
The DIN rail adapter snaps onto the DIN rail (no tools are required).
Mounting the direct-on-line starter on the DIN rail adapter: Size S2
The gure below illustrates how the size S2 direct-on-line starter with screw-type connection
system is mounted on a DIN rail adapter. The devices are snapped onto the DIN rail adapter and
screwed onto the adapter.
① Place the feeder on the DIN rail adapter.
② Screw the feeder to the DIN rail adapter. The feeder sits tight on the adapter.
Tightening torque: 1.5 ... 1.6 Nm
Note
For vibration and shock requirements, the washer must be replaced with a wedge lock washer
(DIN 50021-SS 4.4 x 9.0 x 1.7).
