7.3.4 Mounting on base plate
Mounting on base plate
All load feeder components are delivered ready for base plate mounting. The components' size
dictates whether they are mounted on the base plate with or without DIN rail adapters.
Table 7-8 Mounting on a base plate with or without DIN rail adapter, depending on size
Mounting on base plate Size

7.3.4.1 Mounting on base plate without DIN rail adapter
Mounting on base plate without DIN rail adapter
All size S00 to S2 direct-on-line starters and size S00 reversing starters may be mounted directly
on the base plate.
The load feeder is screwed to the base plate. The device enclosures contain fastening holes, as
well as openings for screw-mounted push-in lugs.
CAUTION
Short-circuit hazard
In congurations with a limiter, insulation of the base plate is necessary to avoid a short-circuit
to the base plate in the event of a short-circuit of the motor starter protector. If the limiter and
the feeder are mounted on the DIN rail adapter, insulation is not required.
Sizes S00 / S0
The gure below shows mounting on a base plate without DIN rail adapter for size S00 reversing
starters as well as for size S00 / S0 direct-on-line starters.
