Installation in hazardous area
The communication module is NOT approved for use in hazardous area.
The installation of the add-on module on a SITRANS F C MASS 6000 Ex d is completed as
follows:
1. Disconnect the equipment from the supply circuits
2. Remove the rear cover by loosening the safety tap allen screw and turn the rear cover counter-
clockwise
3. Remove the electronics using the holes provided
4. Remove the at cable from the plate
