AGA8 Calculations
Note
AGA8 tables a
re used with gas flowmeters only.
The [AGA8 Calculations] screen is used to generate AGA8 data values. To create an AGA8
table:
1. Input data into the appropriate screen fields and check the [Create AGA8 Table] box.
2. Click [Calculate] to generate the screen.
The AGA8 table data can be sent to a gas flowmeter by selecting the [Send Table] button. If
the flowmeter is not a gas meter the [Send Table] button will be grayed out.
Gas Tool
The [Gas Sensor Selection and Sizing Tool] screen allows the user to select product units,
pipe data, gas properties and calculate sensor selection and sensor installation methods.
Gas Sensor Selection and Sizing Tool Screen
To display the [Gas Sensor Selection and Sizing Tool] screen:
1. In the [Utilities] drop down menu select [Gas Tool].
2. In the [Gas Sensor Selection and Sizing Tool] screen, select a gas from the [Gas
Properties] drop down menu. Select additional variables as needed.
3. Click the [Calculate] button.
