Switching between time and remaining driving time/ Activating
driving time monitor
The EDM eco offers you the opportunity to monitor maximum driving times. As soon as this
function is selected a clock counts backwards and shows you how much driving time you have left
until the maximum driving time has expired. When the maximum driving time is up the driver
automatically receives audible and visual warning signals.
The default settings for maximum driving times are: 4 hours and 30 minutes. If necessary another
time can be set using the unit settings (-> 45).

Press the key briefly if you wish to switch between the time display (default
display) and the remaining driving time.
The current amount of driving time remaining will be indicated on the
consumption display unit.
If the maximum driving time monitor has not yet been selected, this display
appears.

If you wish to activate the maximum driving time monitor, simply press the
key until "4:30" appears.
From this time on the remaining driving time clock counts down.
