Activating/ Deactivating PIN protection/ Changing PIN/
Resetting driver PIN
The unit is supplied with all PIN numbers set to "0000". This means that access is not protected
and all driver meters and unit settings are freely accessible.
By setting a different number sequence instead of "0000" the relevant PIN number will be
activated.
Please note that after activating
• the driver PIN number the relevant driver meter is PIN-protected
• the system PIN number, changes to the system settings such as deleting meters (trip and
driver meters), resetting driver PIN numbers or transferring data to the PC are only possible if
the correct system PIN number has been entered (-> 24).
If you want to change a PIN number, simply overwrite the existing PIN number with the new PIN
number.
1 Press the key and the key at the same time to switch to the unit
settings.
The first menu item 86(U6HW83 will be displayed automatically.
