Speed and r.p.m. warning/ Activating second speed alarm value
The consumption display unit gives out an audible and visual signal to warn the driver that he is
either driving too fast (preset speed alarm value has been exceeded) or that he must switch to a
higher gear (preset alarm value for engine speed exceeded).
You can use the unit settings to preset fixed alarm values for:
• speed (-> 36)
• engine speed (-> 37).
As well as setting a fixed speed alarm value, the driver can also activate and deactivate a second
speed alarm value at any time.

To activate a second speed alarm value: Hold down the key.
The current speed value is saved as the second speed alarm value.

To deactivate a second speed alarm value: Press the key briefly.
