CONVERTING PROGRAMS TO HydroSectors™: (inc. setting Master Start Times)
This converts a standard
program to a HydroSector
HydroSector™ STEPS:
1. Check the current station/valve wiring within the [TWO-WIRE] then [>] [Assign
Valves] menu. When using HydroSectors, stations should be wired sequentially. For ex-
ample, a typical system may be set up as follows: HydroSector 1 using stations 1—10,
HydroSector 2 using stations 11—20 and so on.
2. Enter the precipitation rate for each HydroSector™. This is done within [SYSTEM SET-
TINGS]. Up to 8 precipitation rates can be set (for each HydroSector).
3. Scroll to [PROGRAMS] then [>] before selecting [HydroSector Prg], then press Enter.
4. Set the number of matches precipitation zones required with the ON/OFF button. This
will convert standard programs into HydroSectors. For example, if there are 3 zones with
matched precipitation, assign programs 1, 2 and 3 as HydroSectors (see below).
5. Select master start-times for HydroSectors—up to 4 start-times can be selected.
6. Enable auto-programming (see next page).
7. Within auto-programming, assign stations to each HydroSector. For example, HydroSec-
tor 1: Stations 1—5. Then [>] … HydroSector 2: Stations 6—9.
8. Select the required mm per HydroSector. Press ON/OFF to switch between viewing time
and mm. Press [>] to select next HydroSector. Finally press ENTER.
9. Initial HydroSector setup is now complete. To accept master start times and watering
days, scroll to [PROGRAM] [>] [Enter Program]
