6.2.1 CM5 as a replacement for a regular ECM.
Set the following parameters:
“Use as standard ECM:”
Using the [ ] / [ ] keys, select until
the option “YES” flashes on the
display. Then depress [ ] to
confirm the choice
.
The following text then appears:
“Remote HV on/off source:”
Using the [ ] / [ ] keys select until the correct option flashes on the display. You can choose to
continuously switch on the output voltage (“Continuous”) or to switch the output voltage on and
off remotely via the external input (“External”). Then depress [ ] to confirm the choice.
The CM5 can now be used as a replacement for an ECM. The main screen of the CM5 will then
be displayed.
Note:
If the CM5 is being used as a replacement for the regular ECM, access to the menu is
disabled. See section 6.3 to enable the menu.
6.2.2 CM5 with Anybus module (optional).
Set the following parameters:
Bus address:”
Using the [
] / [ ] keys, select until the
desired bus address [1…125] flashes on
the screen. Then depress [
] to confirm
the choice
.
The following text then appears:
“Remote HV on/off source:”
Using the [
] / [ ] keys, select until the
correct option flashes on the screen. You
can choose to switch the output voltage on
and off via the bus communication (“Bus”)
or via the external input (“External”). Then depress [
] to confirm the choice.
The CM5 is now configured and can be used. The main screen of the CM5 will then be
displayed.
