- “Remote I/O mode all I/O
(Only in Remote operating mode) This option selects whether all analogue I/O signals of
the generator should operate in “0-5 V DC”, “0-10 V DC”, “0-20 mA DC” or “4-20 mA DC
mode. Depress [ ] / [ ] to select the correct mode and then depress [ ] to enable the
setting.
- “Bus address
(Only if the Anybus module is activated) This option selects the bus address for the serial
communication. Depress [ ] / [ ] to select the correct slave address and then depress [ ]
to enable the setting.
- Remote HV on/off source
Select “Continuous” to ensure that the generator continuously supplies the set output
voltage, or select “External” to be able to switch the output voltage on and off via the
external input. Depress [ ] / [ ] to select the correct mode and then depress [ ] to
enable the setting.
- “Remote HV on/off source” (only in Fieldbus mode)
(Only if the Anybus module is activated) Select “Bus” to be able to switch the set output
voltage on and off via the bus communication, or select “External” to be able to switch the
output voltage on and off via the external input. Depress [ ] / [ ] to select the correct
mode and then depress [ ] to enable the setting.
Once all parameters have been set, the generator will once again display the information about
the generator type (e.g. “CM5-60N”), the firmware version, the communication bus address and
in some cases additional information. This information is displayed for 2 seconds, after which
the generator continues to start and the main screen is displayed.
6.3 Unlocking the locked menu
If the CM5 is configured as a replacement for the ECM during the Quick init, the menu is
disabled from that moment. Access to the menu can be enabled by switching off the CM5, and
then simultaneously holding down the [] and [ ] keys and switching on the CM5. After a short
time the message “Menu activated” appears on the screen. After 2 seconds the software of the
CM5 will start and the main screen will be displayed. The menu is now unlocked and accessible
for the user.
6.4 The main menu
The LCD display provides information about the status of the generator. This information is
shown via texts and symbols.
