Appendix VII Examples - Changing the existing CM5 configuration
In the following examples a number of parameters will be changed in an already configured
CM5 generator.
Example 3: Resetting the factory settings.
Note: if access to the menu is locked (default CM), first switch the menu on. See section 6.3.
Step 1: The generator is active in the main display. Depress [ ]. The following text appears:

Operating mode:
Local (this text may be different, depending on the chosen configuration)
Step 2: Depress the [ ] and/or [ ] key until the following text appears on the screen:

Advanced settings
Step 3: Depress [
]. The following text appears:
[Advanced settings]
General settings
Step 4: Depress the [
] and/or [ ] key until the following text appears on the screen:
[Advanced settings]
Restore factory
settings: NO
Step 5: Depress [ ]. The text “NO” now starts to flash.
Step 6: Depress the [ ] and/or [ ] key until the flashing text “NO” changes to “YES”.
Step 7: Depress [ ]. The following text appears:
Factory settings
are restored.
Step 8: Depress [ ] or wait 2 seconds. The CM5 will then restart, after which the generator
can be configured again using the Quick menu.
