6.2.3 CM5 in Local mode, Remote mode or AdvOutC mode (optional).
Set the following parameters:
- “Use as standard ECM”
If the CM5 is being used as a replacement for an ECM, use the [ ] / [ ] keys to select until
the option “YES” flashes on the screen. Then depress [ ] to confirm the choice. The
main screen of the CM5 will then be started.
If “NO” is selected, the following settings are run through.
Note:
If the CM5 has been chosen as a replacement for an ECM, access to the menu is
disabled. Access to the menu can be enabled as described in section 6.3.
- “Operating mode”
This option selects whether the generator should operate in “Local”, “Remote”,
“Fieldbus” (optional) or “AdvOutC” (optional) mode. Depress [
] / [ ] to select the correct
mode and then depress [ ] to enable the setting.
- “Control mode”
(Not for AdvOutC mode) This option selects whether the generator should operate in “VC”,
“CC” or “AdvCC” (optional) control mode. Depress [
] / [ ] to select the correct mode and
then depress [
 ] to enable the setting.
