Example 5: Switching on the External Remote HV On/Off mode in order to be able to remotely
switch the generator on and off via machine control.
In this example the External Remote HV On/Off input is switched from Continuous mode to the
mode controlled via the External input. See section 5.7.
Step 1: Depress [ ]. The following text appears:

“Operating mode:”
“Local” (this text may be different, depending on the chosen configuration)
Step 2: Depress the [ ] and/or [ ] key until the following text appears on the screen:

“Advanced settings”
Step 3: Depress [ ]. The following text appears:
“[Advanced settings]”
“General settings”
Step 4: Depress the [ ] and/or [ ] key until the following text appears on the screen:
“[Advanced settings]”
“Remote HV on/off”
“source settings”
Step 5: Depress [ ]. The following text appears:
“[RemOn/Off settings]”
“Remote HV on/off”
“source: Continuous”
Step 6: Depress [ ]. The text “Continuous” now starts to flash.
Step 7: Depress the [ ] and/or [ ] key until the flashing text “Continuous” changes to
“External”.
Step 8: Depress [ ]. The text “External” now no longer flashes (the setting has been
changed). The following text appears:

Step 9: Depress the [ESC] key to exit this menu item. The following text appears:

Step 10: Depress the [ESC] key again to exit this menu item. The following text appears:

Step 11: Depress the [ESC] key again to now exit the menu. The generator will now show the
main screen again.
