4 APPLICATION INTERFACE
4.1 POWER SUPPLY
The power supply range of SIM5300E is from 3.4V to 4.4V. The transmitting burst will cause voltage drop and
the power supply must be able to provide sufficient current up to 2A. If the power voltage drops below 3.3V,
the module may be shut down automatically. The following figure is the VBAT voltage ripple wave at the
maximum power transmit phase.
The test condition: VBAT =4.0V, VBAT maximum output current =2A, 100 µF tantalum capacitor (ESR=0.7Ω)
and 100nF capacitor.
