Note: Unless otherwise noted, wiring is not supervised.

1. Wire the 4100/4120-0153 CCDACT into the system in accordance with
Figure 2-8 and the references that follow the figure.
2. Route the TELCO cables using separate paths from the panel exit to the
RJ-31X modules.
3. Use the cable tie-wrap (supplied) to provide strain relief for these cables.
Secure the cables to any grounded standoff or metal fixture along the cable
run between the CCDACT and the panel exit.

Figure 2-8. Wiring the 4100/4120-0153 CCDACT into the System

Figure References:

1. Factory connections:
a. For a 4100/4120 wall-mount panel, see Table 2 and 841-845 interconnection
diagrams.
b. For a 4100/4120 rack-mount panel, see Table 2 and 841-869 interconnection
diagrams.
2. If the supervisory or PRI 2 channels are not used, leave these inputs open.
3. 4100 AUX RELAY cards (8 or 4 point) - Connect CCDACT TB1-12 COMM-OK output
to a feedback point on RELAY card motherboard (FBx+), preferably same relay point as
AC FAIL. Leave TB1-11 unconnected. Connect CCDACT inputs Supervisory/Priority
2/AC Fail to NO and C relay contacts.
4. Cable connection to programmer is only present during setup.
5. CCDACT Self-test switch: Slide to "ON" position for self-test. Return to "OFF" position
for normal operation.
6. Power-limited wiring; route TELCO cable from terminal blocks to left side of panel, and
exit top-left of enclosure. Using harness STR P/N 2080-9046 (7 ft cable), -9047
(14 ft cable), or equivalent, connect to TELCO jacks. Splice as required using 22 AWG
wire (minimum) to complete desired span. TELCO wiring is supervised.
