Insulin
A hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates the metabolism of
glucose and other nutrients. Insulin injections may be prescribed by a
healthcare professional to help people with diabetes process glucose
(sugar), if their pancreas is damaged and does not produce insulin.
Limitations
A safety statement outlining specic situations in which the iCan i3
CGM should not be used because it may be harmful to you or damage
the system.
mg/dL
Milligrams per deciliter; one of two standard units of measure for the
concentration of blood glucose (sugar).
mmol/L
Millimoles per liter; one of two standard units of measure for the
concentration of blood glucose (sugar).
