Attachment C: Take Care of Your CGM
C.1. Maintenance
Components What you shall do…….
Sensor-Applicator • Keep it in the sterile package until ready for use
• Do not use if it has expired
Transmitter • Keep it in kit box until ready for use. Check transmitter and do not use if
damaged
• Do not spill liquid or soak it with water
• Do not use if Transmitter has expired
Sensor • After apply the senor and wear it on the body, do not use lotions,
sunscreen, insect repellent, or similar items on it
No cleaning methods are recommended or tested for the applied iCan
i3 CGM. Only wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Do not dry transmitter with a
hair dryer, the heat may damage the transmitter.
C.2. Storage and Transport
Store at temperatures between 2-30°C (36°F and 86°F).
Store between 10% and 90% relative humidity.
CAUTION:
• Storing outside this range may cause inaccurate CGM results.
• May store sensor in refrigerator if it is within temperature range.
• Store sensors in a cool, dry place. Do not store in parked car on a
hot or freezing cold day or in a freezer.

You can check your APP for information about your CGM System any
time.
