INJECTION OIL
Recommended Injection Oil
Rotax
®
engines were developed and validated using the
XPS™ oil. BRP recommends the use of its XPS injection
oil or an equivalent at all time. Damages caused by the use of
an injection oil not suitable for this 2-stroke direct fuel injection
engine may not be covered by the BRP Limited Warranty.
Recommended Injection Oil
XPS 2T E-TEC Synthetic Oil
If the Recommended XPS Injection Oil is Not Available
Use a 2-stroke lubricant designed for snowmobiles meet-
ing or exceeding the following lubricant industry specifica-
tions:
- JASO FD (M345-2004)
- SAE Grade 4 (F / M 4)
Injection Oil Level Verification
The injection oil reservoir is located behind the LH side
panel. See CONTROLS, INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT for opening
procedure.
Always maintain a sufficient amount of recommended injection
oil in the injection oil reservoir.
