CAUTION
Avoid getting brake fluid on skin or eyes - it may cause severe
burns. In case of contact skin, wash thoroughly. In case of
contact with the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water
for at least 10 minutes and then consult a doctor immediately.

XPS Synthetic chaincase oil
NOTICE If the recommended XPS chaincase oil is not
available, use a 75W140 gear oil that meets the API GL-
5 specification. The chaincase of this snowmobile has been
developed and validated using the XPS™ Synthetic chaincase
oil. BRP strongly recommends the use of its XPS Synthetic
chaincase oil at all times. Damages caused by oil which is
not suitable for the chaincase will not be covered by the BRP
limited warranty.
Access to Chaincase
Open RH side panel, refer to CONTROLS, INSTRUMENTS AND
EQUIPMENT.
Chaincase Oil Level Verification
With the vehicle on a level surface, check the oil level by
removing the check plug.
