Procedure:
1. Activate the Wi-Fi access point of the DataManager. For this, tap on the enclosure lid twice.
The COM LED is intermittently flashing orange and green for approx. 5 seconds. The Wi-
Fi access point is then activated for approx. 30 minutes. Once this period has expired,
the Wi-Fi access point is deactivated automatically.
2. Scan the left QR code on the label included in delivery using your end device.
3. Confirm the connection to the Wi-Fi access point of the DataManager on your end device. It
may be necessary to deactivate the mobile data connection on your end device.
4. Open the web browser of your end device, enter the standard IP address https://
192.168.12.3 in the address bar of the web browser and press the enter key. To open the
user interface directly, scan the right QR code on the on the label included in delivery using
your end device.
The login page of the user interface opens.
7.2 Establishing a Connection via Ethernet in the local
network
Access addresses of the product
To connect a web browser to the product, the serial number of the product must be available.
The serial number is part of the access addresses of the product.
Access address for Apple and Linux systems: https://SMA[serial number].local (e.g.
https://SMA0123456789.local)
Access address for Windows and Android systems: https://SMA[serial number] (e.g.
https://SMA0123456789)
Ports for data communication
In small local networks the use of certain ports is unrestricted. In industrial networks, the use of
these ports may require authorization from the system administrator. For proper operation, the
outgoing Internet connection must allow the use of the following ports and URLs:
FTP push: Port 21 (FTP)
Updates: port 443 (https/TLS) / update.sunnyportal.de
Time synchronization with Sunny Portal (if not provided by the Internet router):
Port 123 (NTP) / ntp.sunny-portal.com
Data transmission: Port 443 (https/TLS) / ldm-devapi.sunnyportal.com
User interface: Port 443 (https/TLS) / ennexos.sunnyportal.com
SMA Webconnect 1.5 and SMA SPOT: Port 9524 (TCP) / wco.sunnyportal.com
Requirements:
The product must be connected to the local network via a network cable (e.g. via a router).
The IPv4 protocol must be used.
A smart end device (e.g. laptop or tablet PC) must be available.
The smart device must be in the same local network as the product.
