☐ There must be an appropriate energy meter installed at the grid-connection point within the
system.
Procedure:
1. Log into the user interface of the DataManager.
2. Select the menu item Grid management service in the menu Configuration.
3. Select the button Configuration and activation in the Active power row.
☑ The installation assistant will open.
4. Confirm every step with [Continue]
5. Enter the total PV array power in the field Total system power.
6. Select the operating mode Closed-loop control.
7. Select the setpoint Manual control.
8. Enter the value 0 in the field Active power setpoint.
To set the limitation of the active power feed-in to 0% of the total system power, for example,
enter the value 0 in the Active power setpoint field.
To set the limitation of the active power feed-in to -10% of the total system power, for example,
enter the value -10 in the Active power setpoint field. Keep in mind that, in this case, power
will always be drawn from the utility grid.
9. Activate the switch to adjust the modification speed of the setpoint.
10. Enter the value 1 in the field Setting time
11. Enter the value 100 in the field Active power gradient.
12. Click on [Save].
8.4 Configuring Reactive Power as a Function of Grid
Voltage
With the data manager, you can implement reactive power as a function of grid voltage (Q(V))
into your system.
NOTICE
Responsibility of the system operator for grid management service
specifications
The system operator is responsible for the correctness of the configurations and information on
grid management services and system power. Incorrect settings and specifications can result in
device and system damages.
• Set the grid management service specifications required by the grid operator and laid down
in the standards correctly. Contact the grid operator if necessary.
• Enter correct values for system power. Adjust the values for system power during system
expansions.
• Ensure that all required default values are applied or sent cyclically.
