b. Press and drag the cross hairs on the screen to define the area you want to
capture.

4. To take a screen capture of the entire screen, press Full Screen Capture in
the Screen Capture toolbar.

5. To take a screen capture of a window:
a. Press Window Capture in the Screen Capture toolbar.
b. Select the window you want to take a screen capture of.

6. To capture a freehand area:
a. Press Freehand Capture in the Screen Capture toolbar.
The pointer changes to cross hairs.
b. Press and drag the cross hairs on the screen to define the area you want to
capture.

To close the
Screen Capture toolbar
Press the close button in the top-right corner of the Screen Capture toolbar.
Using Floating Tools
The Floating Tools toolbar is a customizable collection of buttons that floats on top of
other programs. The Floating Tools toolbar enables you to quickly access
frequently-used tools and features.
The default Floating Tools toolbar enables you to write or draw, highlight, erase,
right-click, start the SMART Keyboard, create .notebook files and undo a previous
action.
To open the
Floating Tools toolbar
Press the SMART Board icon in the system tray, and then select Show Floating
Tools.
