Left-Clicking Using Floating Tools
You can use the Select tool in the Floating Tools toolbar to select (left-click).
NOTE
Press the Select button after using pen or drawing tools. Otherwise,
SMART Notebook interprets your actions as pen strokes.
To left-click using
Floating Tools
1. Press Select in the Floating Tools toolbar.
2. Press the interactive screen to perform a left click.
Writing or Drawing Using Floating Tools
You can use the Pen tool in the Floating Tools toolbar to write or draw in digital ink.
To write or draw
with Floating Tools
1. Press Pen in the Floating Tools toolbar, and then select an available digital
ink style.
2. Write or draw on the interactive screen.
To customize the
Pen floating tool
1. Press Pen in the Floating Tools toolbar, and then press Customize .
The Properties dialog box appears.
2. Press the digital ink style you want to customize from the Floating Tools toolbar.
3. Press Fill Effects.
4. Drag the slider to change the digital ink's transparency.
5. Press Line Style.
6. Select the color, thickness, style and line endings.
7. Press Save Tool Properties.
Highlighting Using Floating Tools
You can use the Highlighter tool in the Floating Tools toolbar to highlight in digital ink.
To highlight with
Floating Tools
1. Press Highlighter in the Floating Tools toolbar, and then select a digital ink
style.
2. Press the area of the screen you want to highlight.
