Changing Pen Settings
You can change SMART hardware settings to customize the behavior of your SMART
product, including the digital ink's line color, width, end style, thickness and
transparency of the digital ink for each pen (on interactive whiteboards) or pen tool
button (on interactive pen displays).
To change Pen settings 1. Open the SMART Notebook control panel.
2. Press SMART Hardware Settings.
The upper area of the control panel displays an image of the SMART product
connected to the computer.
3. If your computer is connected to more than one SMART product, the upper area
of the control panel displays an image of each SMART product. Press the image
of the product with the settings you want to change.
4. Select Pen and Button Settings in the list.
5. Press Black Pen Settings to customize the black pen (on interactive
whiteboards) or black pen tool button (on interactive pen displays).
OR
Press Blue Pen Settings to customize the blue pen (on interactive
whiteboards) or blue pen tool button (on interactive pen displays).
OR
Press Red Pen Settings to customize the red pen (on interactive
whiteboards) or red pen tool button (on interactive pen displays).
OR
Press Green Pen Settings to customize the green pen (on interactive
whiteboards).
The Properties dialog box appears.
6. Adjust the color, thickness, line end and line style.
7. Press Fill Effects.
8. Adjust the transparency.
9. Press Save Tool Properties to save your settings.
