Updating SMART Notebook
SMART Notebook automatically checks for available updates from
www.smarttech.com
once a month. You can set SMART Notebook to check for
updates more or less frequently.
You can also manually update SMART Notebook.
NOTE
Your computer must have access to the Internet to update SMART Notebook
using these procedures.
To change the automatic
update settings
1. Press the SMART Board icon in the system tray, and then select Check for
Updates.
2. Select the frequency with which your computer checks for updates in the Check
for updates automatically every list.
3. Press Close to close the SMART Product Update dialog box.
To manually update
SMART Notebook
1. Open the Welcome Center.
2. Press the Help/Support tab.
3. Press Check for Updates.
The SMART Product Update dialog box appears.
NOTE
You can also open the SMART Product Update dialog box by pressing the
SMART Board icon in the system tray, and then selecting Check for
Updates.
4. Select Notebook Software, and then press Update.
5. Select SMART Board Drivers Software, and then press Update.
6. Press Close to close the SMART Product Update window.
