6.3. Plug-in manual bypass Disassembly & Installation
6.3.1. Precautions Prior to Plug-in manual bypass Disassembly
- The Plug-in manual bypass is assembled with the UPS when it is shipped out
from the Socomec factory. Disassembly of the Plug-in manual bypass must be
performed by appropriately trained personnel.
- To carry out UPS maintenance without interrupting its power supply, please
follow the procedures below to turn the switch of the Plug-in Manual Bypass to
the Bypass position to let the UPS automatically shut down.
Before to proceed to the bypass operation, ensure the UPS is set as Standby
Mode = Bypass output. See section 9.1.2

Remove the screw shown below to remove the cover plate of the manual
bypass switch.

Turn the manual bypass switch to the Bypass position.

INVERTER SHUTDOWN.
