6.6.6 Selection options for the totals display
Deleting the totalising memory
The following functions can be assigned to the Total function key in the setting mode:
> Display, print and delete totals
After pressing the Total function key, the totals are displayed for 3 seconds, and the contents of the
memory are printed out and deleted simultaneously. You can then start a new totalising procedure.
> Display totals only
After pressing the function key Total, the user can decide whether the total memory should be deleted
or not. Press the F2 key to clear the totalising memory, then press the F2 key to clear the totalising
memory. Use the F1 to F3 YES keys to clear the totalising memory, while the F4 to F6 NO keys do not
clear the totalising memory.
If you want to continue totalising without deleting the memory, press the F6 Back key.
6.6.7 Relief factor for totalising
(Parameter is not used in the Pick function)
In the setting mode, you can specify that the scale must be unloaded by a certain number of digits between
the placing on the scale of the individual items in the Totalising function. If you do not relieve the load, the
weight value is not stored in the totalising memory and is displayed with the error message Error 55 Place
weight on scale. In this way, you can prevent, for example, duplicate entries being made for one item.
6.6.8 Auto total / pick
The auto total function can be activated in the setting mode.
Then only the first position must be stored with the Plus key; all other positions are automatically stored in
the totalising memory after they have been cleared (only for totalising) and weight has been placed on the
scale.
If auto totalising is interrupted due to cancellation, error message or change of measuring point, auto
totalising must be restarted with the Plus key.
Info: Auto totalising can be defined as a print-triggering condition in the same way as manual totalising (see
section 8 Printing in the 3025 Operation Manual).
With auto batching, a load <5 digits is not automatically accepted; weights < 5 digits can be manually stored
in the pick memory using the F6 Plus key.
6.6.9 Reference scale for totalisation
The total memory can only be determined with one unit and resolution. When several scales (measuring
points) with different settings are used, the parameters of the currently connected scale are used for the
totalising process.
In the setting mode, you can assign the preferred totalising scale function.
The unit and resolution for the totalising memory are always determined with the selected scale number.
