5.1 5.1 Preparation for ConnectionPreparation for Connection
It is recommended that you prepare cables with the following specifications
before making cable connections. Please pay attention to the following when
you make the cable connections:
• All cables must be undamaged, well insulated, properly sized and securely
connected
• Make sure that the wiring procedure is correct, otherwise the equipment
may be damaged and even cause injury or death to the wiring personnel.

RS485 cable Shielded twisted pair with cross sectional area of
0.75mm²~1.5mm²
DI signal cable Dual core cable with a cross-sectional area of
0.2mm²~1.5mm²
AI signal cable Dual core cable with a cross-sectional area of
0.2mm²~1.5mm²
DO signal cable Dual core cable with a cross-sectional area of
0.2mm²~1.5mm²

CH1000 has 3 RS485 interfaces, any of which can be connected to inverter/
meter devices, but the inverter and meter need to be connected to different
RS485 interfaces.
