Pins 2, 4, and 6 of the Input connectors are common Ground.

Supervision Wiring
The wiring of supervised inputs is shown in Figure 14. Note that the
resistor network is different for Normally Opened (NO) and Normally Closed
(NC) switches.

This method reports:
Short
Alert (500 ohms)
Normal (1K)
Alert (2K)
Open (>30K)
Line Fault (Any unexpected value) Usually due to wrong value resistors or
faulty resistors.
Each input can be individually configured to use any of the 23 supervision
methods supported by the I8 - CSI Boar
