Turn to adjust the selected speaker level, surround,
and equalizer parameters (etc.).
[] LEVEL button
Press to activate the speaker level parameters (page
38). The indicator on tile button lights up and you carl
adjust tire various speaker level parameters (fl'ont
balance, rear L/R balance, etc.).
[] EQ button
Press to activate tire equalizer parameters (page 39).
Tile indicator on tile button lights up and you can
adjust tile various equalizer parameters.
[] SURROUND button
Press to activate tire surrotmd parameters (page 36).
Tile indicator on tile button lights up and you can
adjust tire various surrotmd parameters (efIect level,
wall type, etc.).
[] NAME button
Press to activate tire name functkm and enter haines
for preset stations and prograln sources (page 53).
[] ON SCREEN button
Press to turn tire on screen display on or off (page 7).
Press to display tile current sotmd fieM, and tile
parameters for SURROUND, LEVEL, EQUALIZER,
and SETUR Press again to turn of_'tire on-screen
display.
[] EQ BANK button
Press repeatedly to select an equalizer (EQ 1 - 5) or
turn tire equalizer off (EQ OFF).
• The equalizer does not flmction during 5.1CH input, and
when ANALOG DIRECT is selected. Only the fl'ont
speakers' equalizer operates with 96 kHz digital audio
signals.

Press to scan stations by program type. The PTY
button does not fun_ tion during AM reception.

Press to set tile receiver to automatically switch to
stations broadcasting traffic announcements, news,
or information program. Tire RDS/E(-)N button
does not f\mction during AM reception.

Connects headphones.
• To use the headphones, set the SPEAKERS selector to OFF
to output sotmd to the headphones.
• To enjoy surround sound fl'om the headphones, we
recommend selecting the HEADPHONE THEATER sound
field. Selecting other sotmd fields when the SPEAKERS
selector is set to OFF automatically presents a 2 channel
(stereo) downmix fi'om the headphones.
