6 Instrument Technology
Focus System
The instrument is equipped with a motor focus drive. The focus motion knob is on the
side of the instrument for easy access.
The focus knob is connected to a
servo motor that is built into the telescope. When
you turn the focus motion knob, the servo motor adjusts the focusing lens, see
Figure 6-8.
