3 Getting Started
Optical Plummet
The instrument is equipped with an optical plummet, which has 2x magnification and
a focusing range of 0.5 m to infinity. The instrument can be positioned to an accuracy
of 0.5 mm at 1.5 m over a ground mark.

Trigger Key
The trigger key functions as an On/Off key (z). A LED in the trigger key indi-
cates if the instrument is turned on. A solid
light indicates On and a flashing light
