Horizontal Coarse drive lever arm adjustment
The goal of the adjustment is the correct position of the Coarse drive lever arm index to the Light
barrier end stops, avoiding a collision.

3 Prepare instrument. Find the opening in the
alhidade under battery
side cover.
4 Adjusting the gap. A. Find the gap between
the Hz Coarse lever
arm index and the Hz
Slip contacts board.
B. Put in the gap the
Lever arm
adjustment tool with
the smaller end (go
side).
C. Turn the adjustment
screw
counterclockwise to
decrease the gap until
the index touches the
Lever arm
adjustment tool. Turn
the adjustment screw
1 turn in opposite
direction.
Tolerance:
gap >2,3mm

The Lever arm
adjustment tool Hz
has one end width
2,3mm (go side), the
other width is 3,2mm
marked with a drill
hole (no go side).
Turn the adjustment
screw
counterclockwise to
decrease the gap, turn
clockwise to increase
the gap.
