theHAXmotorreplacementtoolanduseitasleveragetoremovethe
tool.
5. AdjusttheHAXmotortensioningscrew.
a. Slideasinglesheetofpaperbetweentwowindsofthespring.Usea
1/4‐inchopen‐endwrenchtoloosenthetensioningscrew,if
necessary.Thelargeslotattheendoftheinstallationtoolcanbe
usedifa1/4‐inchopen‐endwrenchisnotavailable.
b. Usinga1/4‐inchopen‐endwrench,tightenthetensioningscrew
untilthespringgripsthesheetofpaper.
c. Loosenthescrewjustenoughsothatthesheetofpaper slidesoutof
thespring.

youdrewinStep 1onpage 18.
6. Usinga#2Phillipsscrewdriver,tightenthefourscrewstosecurethe
HAXmotormountingbrackettotheHAXbelthousing.

Caution
Do not over-tension the HAX belt. If the belt is over-tensioned it can create enough
friction that the motor cannot turn the pulley system.
