6.7.2 ST-LINK/V2-1 firmware upgrade
For its own operation, ST-LINK/V2-1 embeds a dedicated microcontroller with Flash memory. Its firmware
determines
ST-LINK/V2-1 functionality and performance.
The ST-LINK/V2-1 embeds a firmware mechanism for the in-situ upgrade through the USB port. As the firmware
may evolve during the lifespan of the ST-LINK/V2-1 product (for example new functionalities, bug fixes, support
for new microcontroller families), it is recommended to visit the www.st.com website before starting to use the
STM32MP157F-EV1 Evaluation board and periodically, to stay up-to-date with the latest firmware version.
6.8 ETM TRACE Mictor-38 connector
The Mictor-38 connector MB1262/U10 may output trace signals used for debug, as well as JTAG signals.
