7. Connect the divider to the top filter container.
Pay attention to the positioning of the
recesses in the divider.
8. Push the filter lock

together with the O-
ring into the top filter container until you hear
it lock into place.
9. Fill the clean water chamber

with water to
approximately 1/3 full.
10. Fill the filter chamber

with filter sand.
Please refer to the section "Technical data"
for the required quantities.
Make sure that no filter medium gets into the
clean water chamber

because it will be
pumped into the pool when the pump is in
operation.
11. Have a second person help you insert the
vessel seal

. Check for any foreign objects
in the groove and make sure that the seal is
fitted correctly.
12. Lubricate the vessel seal

with
dishwashing detergent or soap (not included
in the package contents) to make it easier to
install the valve head.
Never use oil or grease since this could
damage the filter vessel.
13. Place the valve head on the filter vessel.
Make sure that the notch on the valve head
and the alignment lug on the filter vessel are
lined up.
14. With the aid of a second person, place the
locking ring

around the valve head and
filter vessel connecting point.
A large amount of force needs to be applied
in order to fit the locking ring.
15. Use the rubber mallet

supplied in the
package contents to tap the locking ring
gently along its circumference. Never use a
regular hammer!
The vessel seal must slide into the groove on
the bottom of the valve head, and the valve head must lie flat on the filter vessel.
16. Insert the locking ring bolt

into the hexagon socket of the locking ring.
17. Place the screw clamp

onto the connection points of the locking ring via the locking ring bolt.
