7. STARTING SYSTEM ( electric starter)
General information
The electric starter unit consists of a motor powered by a 12 Volt battery (mounted on the engine).
See the relevant section [
17] for advice on resolving problems due to the malfunctioning of the star-
ting system.

7.1. Removing the starter motor
1 - Disconnect the connector (1) from the wiring.
2 - Unplug the power cable (2).
3 - Unscrew the two screws (3) and remove the
motor.
4 - When assembling, follow the above operations in
reverse order and ret the fuel supply pipe as well.
